The Machine in Rotterdam

As of today, The Machine is on show at The New Institute in Rotterdam. The exhibition is part of The Ruïn. In this exhibition five fragments from previous exhibitions of sister organizations and three new presentations highlight every aspect of a future agenda of the New Institute.

Besides The Machine, also Playboy Architecture, 1953-1979 (NAiM / Bureau Europa), Evil Media Distribution Centre (Transmediale Berlin), Werkstadt Vienna - Design Engaging the City (Vienna Design Week) and DEAF and Unstable (Dutch Electronic Art Festival) are shown. New presentations are Treppen - High Rise / Fall Down (John Schwartz), City Hall (Ellen Smit) and Schmuck (Marjan Unger). The Ruin can be visited until 15 September.

The Machine is an exhibition of Jan Boelen / Z33, produced by Design Hub Limburg. Earlier, the exhibition was shown in various forms in C-Mine Genk, TAC Eindhoven and during the design week in Milan.
