OBLIQUITE
Obliquite is a new product design annual publication with a distinctive approach: it publishes essays by and interviews with exclusively practicing designers. Thematic, it allows to address a specific phenomenon of current design practices. Each issue addresses a specific theme within the current practices of promising young designers who undertake "oblique" routes in their work, be it by medium, subject or influence.
The first issue, "Paradigm", tackles the border of design. It invites designers who work beyond functional objects into the media of installations, performances, games or manuals. Their essays elucidate their thought processes on the path to new forms of creation that still concern the design of the everyday.
