Props for Drama: Plot Hole (2013)

A plot hole is a gap or inconsistency in the storyline that contradicts or breaks the originally set narrative logic.

In Props for Drama: Plot Hole we see how an actor is transformed into two different characters. In an abstract decor, front and backstage have been put up alongside each other. On three screens, similar recordings are shown simultaneously. The mutual nuances between scenes, differences in synchronicity or camera angles, only become apparent because of the repetition of the similar recordings.

A voiceover coordinates the movements of both characters by describing their actions, just before these take place. This often leads to absurd situations in which it is no longer clear whether the voice directs the character or vice versa.
