Nadia Naveau

Nadia Naveau's work is always figurative and fairly classical in its construction. The images originate in the impressions she finds all around her: magazines, streets, or a trip she once dreamed of making to the Far West. In FLAC© Naveau has made an interpretation of a former work, namely Redone. It was the first of a series of works which gave a certain twist to her search and subsequently played an important role in its evolution. Here the same small figure is given a new form, taking into account the new material that would be used. By combining different impressions and ideas she creates one visual fantasy which no longer serves as a reference to reality. It is not a literal interpretation of the face but a collection of different impressions which can be also be explained in different ways.
